This is one of the rarest places on earth. A used car dealer that's as honest as the day is long. Dan Mcfadden, and his family are pure class. They are of course in business to make a living, but they do it right with lot's, and lot's of honesty, and integrity. There simply are none better than Dan Mcfadden.
Do NOT, I repeat do NOT purchase a vehicle from DanMcFadden Auto Sales located in New Carlisle, Ohio. I purchased a vehicle from him in late January, I paid him $6,000 cash. Two weeks later my transmission blew with my one year old son in the car. The vehicle was then towed to Aamco here in Springfield Ohio, I then receive information that the warranty Dan McFadden provides does not cover all of the expenses that were required to fix my transmission. His warranty company was wanting to provide me with a "used" transmission with 150,000+ miles on it, or provide me with $1,100 to rebuild my transmission, of course with the help of my family we decide to just pay the difference to rebuild my transmission, which out the door of Aamco was 1,800. With that being said when I purchased the vehicle he informed me that the airbag light was on due to a recall, so he scheduled me an appointment to get the recall fixed. I then take my car to Jeff Wyler only to find out that it was not under recall and I was responsible for the diagnoses that they preformed on my car, I tried explaining the situation to Dan McFadden however he still refused to pay it. At this point I am just washing my hands of this man. Anyways, feel free to share this post! I would hate to see someone else get screwed over!
Dan is a very good and honest man! We have gotten 2 vehicles from him!
He left me stranded in his mechanics parking lot after taking the keys from me to drive the car himself after I mentioned the issues I'd had with the car and he proceeded to kill it half a dozen times until slipping the clutch so bad that you could nearly smell it as he drove away... I walked 2 blocks back to my car and left, best decision I'd made that day...
Had a great experience here. Just bought my car today and I love it. The dealer was honest and easy to work with. We love the car we chose and I'm sure we'll be back.
When you say you're more than willing to provide bank statements showing you can pay for the car fully day of and say you're coming to put $1000 down on a $5000 car you might figure you'll be taken seriously... No such luck...

Acted as if I hadn't called the day before or his memory is so bad he forgot.
Car was out of gas, running rough, died off the line multiple times for him and me without majorly slipping the clutch, possible timing chain guide failure in progress, possibly needs a clutch, moist interior on passenger side.
